Three? If it was me, i would cap it at *ONE* PvE skill on bar.

im glad they did this. There would be no differentiation between professions and pve would become one build.

it doesnt matter wut they do...we will still end up wit everyone running the same builds at end game...if they allowed u to have 8 pve skills then someone would come up wit a team build of 8 pve skills on every persons bar (because they are in general better than pvx skills)...now wit a cap of 3 ull just get someone making a team build for the elite areas containing 3 pve skills on everyones bar

heck even in general pve ur still gonna see certain builds for certain classes, probably being only 5 seperate builds for each class, so in all areas ull see limited diversity no matter how many pve skills u allow per bar...so imo diversity is a moot point in the argument

speaking of skill diversity though...the only people who will actually have any are gonna be either people who run firestorm on their warriors (hey its wut the box tells u to do, strike with a hamstring attack to cripple your fleeing opponent, then rain fire down upon him as he slowly limps away...imo...that is the deadliest of all combinations :P ). as well their will be the people who have a clue but like to try some random builds...or decide to run pvp builds in pve...cuz they still work well :P

I still want signet of corruption in there, but now I will get another emanagment thingy in there, shame. Damn LBgaze was kicked too from my bar, lol its PvE. If they want to limit effectiveness just require Attribute lines to be used for damage and other purposes. Then we also don't need to grind those titles.

This throws off my skillbar on my Paragon in torment realms.

Already have Spear of Fury, Save yourselves, and There's nothing to fear on there. Yeah, I can see where they're coming from. However, I'd have to take off LB gaze for that.

Meh. I only used Intensity for a day till I realised it was bobbins. Glyph of Elemental Power however, has now got a perma-slot.

Limiting it to three seems fine to me.

Lol, that was my Mesmer build, along with signet of corruption, LB Gaze, and mantra of recovery (to further enhance the PvE skills). This "nerf" hit my mesmer hard.

Doesn't really phase me.... for the moment.
I can see how it might bug some people.... but I guess they'll just have to get used to it... like the 1 Elite Skill slot.

Guess all farming builds and whatnot will have 1 Elite skill and 3 PvE skills from now on.

Being allowed 3 of them STILL allows for monstrously strong builds. I think it's a good limit though.

Outside of the NF skills, I want to see these super overpowered builds people speak of? I may be missing and need I think 4 more skills from the preview, but not seeing what you all are talking about outside the necro/mezmer combo [which was allowed unrestricted] without a problem? Why does having bite ear on your bar suddenly break the game?

The only time this seems to affect me is when I'm out skill capping with lb gaze as it limits the amount of cap sigs I can take. They should allow as many cap sigs as you want. May not be that big of a deal though if they don't fix Hall of Monuments to be able to display PvE titles (right now it seems that you can only display PvE).

Personally I just hate how they classify Signet of Capture as a PVE only skill, to me that should be along the same lines as say the original resurrection signet.

And these builds are stronger than builds with no PvE skills?

Like the 55 Mo/D or the E/A shivers ele?

Or for party builds searing flames packs, ranger packs with orders, the combo of bonder and SB monks, famine groups or mass trapper groups?

We have overpowered builds as it is, so why limit creativity by nerfing skills that could possibly result in overpowered builds?

As I said elsewhere too, the most powerful PvE skill would have been LB Gaze and that was never nerfed. Figure 140 damage AoE plus AoE interrupt with a 5 energy cost and 15 second recharge.

No one complained about this before, but now we have uber skills like Ear Bite the game is in dire trouble.

No one wants balanced play so why pretend we do and nerf stuff randomly?

Because otherwise you create a game where a E/W can tank just as well as a W/E, etc. By not being linked to any attributes, professions become unimportant.

Guild Wars is about limits. What is everyone complaining about? You can only have 8 skills at one time, you only can bring 3 heroes at one time, you can only have 1 elite skill equipped at one time, etc, etc.

So whats one more limit?
